Marisa started her Game Dev journey 14 years ago as a Community Moderator where players always came first. And players are still at the heart of her quest to make the industry welcoming to gamers from all backgrounds. While she never really stops thinking about how games work or making the best experiences possible, she does sometimes take time out to help her husband with their next home improvement project, take the pups to the dog park, or work on her historical fiction novel.
